Our Journey
James Mwangi and two partners open a hardware stall in Industrial Area with KES 800,000 capital and a vision to change how building materials are sold.
Secured a 5,000 m² warehouse on Enterprise Road, expanding into bulk cement and aggregate supply for commercial contractors.
Expanded to the Coast, serving the booming Mombasa property market and port infrastructure projects. Fleet grows to 8 trucks.
Became an official LafargeHolcim distributor and launched our steel division as exclusive Devki stockists in Nairobi.
Opened two more branches to serve Western Kenya and the Rift Valley, completing our national footprint.
Launched online ordering, contractor portal, and live inventory tracking — making Atlas the most tech-forward materials supplier in Kenya.
